Times when desktops were hulking towers are long gone. The Minix Neo Z95 pushes that trend to an extreme: at just 88 × 88 × 43 mm, it’s one of the smallest full PCs available and smaller than many traditional mobile phones.
The chassis is a simple cube with rounded corners and an X-shaped perforation on top. Ports line the sides and there’s a traditional power button on the enclosure.
Active cooling in a tiny package
Despite its tiny footprint, Minix fitted an active cooling system to keep components in check under load. A fan sits at the bottom of the case, and the cooling solution also relies on copper heat pipes to dissipate excess heat effectively.
Processor, memory, and storage
The Neo Z95 runs on an Intel N95 processor, part of the older Alder Lake-N family. It’s not a high-end chip, but it delivers sufficient performance for everyday office tasks.
Graphics are handled by integrated Intel UHD Graphics, and the system ships with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. That memory is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded, while internal storage is a 512 GB PCIe 3.0 SSD that can be expanded.
Connectivity and displays
Minix equips the Neo Z95 with a useful array of ports: three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A connectors, two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, two LAN ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The mini PC also supports Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth.
The system can drive up to three 4K displays simultaneously. It ships with full Windows 11 Pro preinstalled.
Availability
The Minix Neo Z95 is listed on Minix’s official website, which specializes in compact PCs and peripherals. The unit can be shipped to Europe, but it is currently sold out, so interested buyers will need to wait for the next restock.
