Jackery, best known for its home-sized battery systems, showed off a modern, solar-powered gazebo at CES aimed at homeowners who want more than a stack of lumber and a tarp.
Design and power built in
The structure measures 4.5 by 3 by 2.7 meters and is made primarily from aluminum. Its roof integrates 2,000 watts of solar panels that can power built-in lighting and other devices.
Outlets, a screen, and an optional battery backup
The gazebo includes rugged power outlets for devices such as projectors, and Jackery has fitted a roomy projection screen into the design. The company also offers its own backup batteries so owners can run refrigerators, audio systems and other higher-draw equipment from the gazebo.
Flexible setups and rollouts

Customers can also opt to use third-party batteries or no integrated battery at all if they only need the gazebo for occasional summer use. Jackery says it will begin selling and installing the first units in the second half of this year, but initial availability will be limited to California residents.
Price and market positioning
Jackery has not disclosed an official price. Unofficial reports put the cost at about $12,000 to $15,000, roughly 300,000 to 375,000 Czech crowns with tax. That places the product well above basic, no-frills garden gazebos, which can run for about a third of that price.
Outlook
At that price, the gazebo is not aimed at the mass market. If Jackery finds demand, however, the product could spur lower-cost alternatives over time.
