Samsung has introduced a pair of entry-level tablets today: the Galaxy Tab A11 and the larger Galaxy Tab A11+. They are basic, affordable slates aimed at casual media consumption, with the A11+ adding a notable first for the Tab A family — DeX support.
Both models use plastic bodies and carry asymmetric bezels, suggesting Samsung expects the devices to be used mostly in portrait. They target users who want a simple tablet without a big price tag.
Design and displays

The smaller Galaxy Tab A11 has an 8.7-inch screen, while the A11+ steps up to an 11-inch panel with HD resolution. Samsung equipped both models with LCDs that run at an elevated 90 Hz refresh rate. There is no mention of active stylus support.
Front-facing 5-megapixel webcams sit in the display frame, and an 8-megapixel camera is positioned in the upper-left corner of the back. A USB-C charging port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a tray for a microSD card or an optional SIM for LTE are all built into the frame.
Hardware and battery

The Galaxy Tab A11 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage in the Czech market. Samsung has not disclosed the processor or memory capacities for the larger A11+ yet.
Battery capacities differ between the two models. The Tab A11 packs a 5,400 mAh battery with up to 15-watt charging, while the Tab A11+ includes a 7,040 mAh battery and supports up to 25-watt charging. Chargers are not included in the box.
Software, durability, and DeX

Both tablets run Android 15 with One UI 7 and include Samsung’s Gemini assistant. The A11+ supports Samsung DeX, a first for the Tab A line, although Samsung signals that DeX will likely be limited to a tablet-mode experience rather than use on an external display.
Both devices have an IP52 rating for splash and dust resistance. Samsung is promising an extended seven years of software support for the new Tab A11 family.
Sizes, availability, and pricing
The smaller Galaxy Tab A11 measures 211 × 124.7 × 8 mm and weighs 332 grams. The larger Tab A11+ measures 257.1 × 168.7 × 6.9 mm; its weight has not been disclosed. Both models come in black and white finishes.
The basic Galaxy Tab A11 is available now in the Czech Republic. The Wi-Fi-only model is priced at 4,490 Czech koruna, and the LTE variant costs 5,490 koruna. Samsung says the Galaxy Tab A11+ will go on sale sometime before the end of the year, but a price and exact launch date have not been provided.
