Xiaomi’s Mijia daughter brand has launched the Air Conditioner Super Energy Saving Vertical 3 HP, a compact but powerful split air conditioner aimed at homeowners who want strong cooling without a full-scale installation project.
Cooling capacity and performance
The unit delivers roughly 7–8 kW of cooling power and can move up to 1,752 cubic meters of air per hour. According to the manufacturer, it can start effective cooling in about 40 seconds and switch to heating in roughly 80 seconds when needed.
It is rated to cool rooms up to 40 square meters, which is modest for large homes but suitable for most bedrooms and living rooms. The airflow reaches up to 13 meters, so cooled or heated air can travel across typical room layouts.
Smart features and hygiene
The Mijia model supports HyperOS Connect, letting you control the AC from a smartphone and integrate it into Xiaomi’s broader ecosystem. It also includes a cleaning mode that raises internal temperatures to about 56 °C to sterilize the unit, reducing odors and bacterial growth.
Installation, price, and availability
This is a multisplit system and requires an outdoor unit, so do not mistake the product images for a portable indoor-only air conditioner. The Mijia Air Conditioner Super Energy Saving Vertical 3 HP is on sale in China for 4,999 yuan, which converts to roughly 15,000 Czech koruna.
There is a catch: the unit is not officially available in the Czech market. If you want one, you will need to buy from Chinese e-shops or wait to see if any distributor imports it into the Czech Republic.
